Soft Rush is a plant that you can’t help but walk by and run your hands through. The emerald green, tubular stalks are silky smooth, dense, and evergreen. They are topped by golden brown, drooping flower clusters. Preference is for full to part sun in moist to wet soil, but it can withstand periods of drought once established. Can be an aggressive spreader through re-seeding and underground rhizomes. Its dense, evergreen habit provides excellent ground cover and habitat for animals.
