    Pink Coreopsis (Coreopsis rosea)
    Aster Family

Pink Coreopsis (Coreopsis rosea) is a low-growing, mounding perennial that blooms profusely from mid to late summer. It features delicate, thread-like foliage that provides a soft, airy texture in the garden, contrasting beautifully with its bright ½-inch pink flowers, with a yellow center.Naturally found in moist environments near the coast in the eastern U.S., it thrives in moist, well-drained soils, and struggles in dry, hot conditions. In drier environments, the fine foliage may become less attractive, especially during the height of summer. Foliage and seed heads can be completely cut back in late summer if a tidier look is desired It excels in borders, wildflower gardens, and mixed plantings, where its airy foliage and bright blooms add both texture and visual interest. Due to its long bloom time, Pink Tickseed is a great addition to gardens seeking vibrant, long-lasting color.
