Product Info
Golden Alexander (Zizia aurea)
Carrot FamilyA carefree, spring blooming plant that attracts an incredible diversity of pollinators. One of the most exciting to watch is the brightly colored Black Swallowtail caterpillars which can show up in mass and quickly defoliate, but not kill plants. Full sun will promote sturdier plants, but plants can be found in light shade settings as well. Plants are best suited in a more naturalized setting or meadow garden where their more wild appearance can blend in. This is a plant for the pollinators more than the people.
