Parlin’s Pussytoes (Antennaria parlinii)
Aster FamilyParlin's Pussytoes, is an adaptable, low-maintenance, evergreen groundcover. Standing between 6 to 12 inches tall, this plant forms a neat rosette of narrow leaves covered in fine, silvery hairs. In late spring to early summer, it produces clusters of small, fluffy white or pale pink flowers that resemble cat paws. It can grow in a wide variety of garden conditions, including extra tough spots. It can be planted in rock gardens, on slopes for erosion control, as border or filler plant in the garden, or as part of a lawn replacement.
