Turk's Cap Lily (Lilium superbum)
Lily FamilyThis bright orange lily is one of North America's largest, showiest, and easiest to grow lilies. Dozens of strongly reflexed flowers can dangle from 6’ tall stems. They contain an abundance of nectar and are a particular favorite of Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterflies. It is not uncommon to find half a dozen butterflies nectaring on the same plant.
