This plant has it all–evergreen, shade and sun tolerant, wet feet or dry feet, deer and rabbit resistant, well behaved, and beautiful in the setting sun. Use Cherokee Sedge as a specimen plant, or go wild and start replacing some lawn, either way, this is the sedge for the job. Cherokee sedge has a medium growth rate and is clump forming–it is not an aggressive spreader in the garden.
