    Blue flowers are a bee favorite and not as common in the wildflower world. Blooms open starting at the bottom of a long flowering stalk and slowly work their way up–the long bloom time is appreciated in mid-late summer. Leave the seed heads up for this biennial (and sometimes annual) and you will never be without a bellflower again. If planted in more than 6 hours of sun, make sure it stays consistently moist, or be prepared to water in dry times.
