Product Info
Harebell (Campanula rotundifolia)
Bellflower Family
This cheery wildflower begins blooming in late summer and can continue into early fall. Periwinkle blue, bell shaped flowers are small and whimsical. This is a rather wispy plant that can be overwhelmed by larger plants. Small grasses like Little Bluestem and Prairie Dropseed make an excellent background for showing of the blue flowers. It will appreciate a break from afternoon sun in warmer areas. It is very drought tolerant and can work well in rock and gravel gardens.
