Luminaries are handmade in Saxapahaw, NC using beeswax and dried, pressed native plant material. Place a real or battery powered tea light inside your luminary to produce a beautiful glow and warm beeswax scent. Real candles should be small and in a non-metal container. 

Luminary bases have been reinforced with additional beeswax to provide extra protection from the base of a hot candle. Sand or a wooden coaster can be added for additional protection, but is not necessary. Do not touch the luminary for several minutes after blowing out candle. Beeswax color will fade over time with sun exposure. 

Luminaries are very fragile.
